Terms of Service
Last updated October 24, 2026
WhatsUp is run by What’s Up SETX LLC (“we”). These terms apply when you use whatsup.org and the WhatsUp apps. By creating an account or using WhatsUp, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
Using WhatsUp
- You must be at least 13 years old.
- Keep your account details accurate and your password to yourself. You’re responsible for your account.
- Don’t misuse WhatsUp: no scraping or overloading the service, no breaking or bypassing its security, and nothing illegal, harmful or abusive.
Event information
We gather events and places from organizers, venues and other public sources, and link back to where they came from. Details like dates, times, prices and availability can change or be wrong, so check with the organizer before you go. WhatsUp isn’t the organizer of the events listed and isn’t responsible for them.
Our service
WhatsUp is provided “as is”. We work to keep it running and accurate but can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change, pause or stop parts of it. The WhatsUp name, logo and app belong to us; event details belong to their sources.
Ending your account
You can stop using WhatsUp and delete your account at any time, from Profile › Account & Security. We delete it 30 days later, and logging back in before then keeps it (our Privacy Policy says what that removes). We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, WhatsUp isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything that happens at an event you found through us.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; we’ll change the date above and tell you about significant changes. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
